In track cycling, the Olympic podium is the highest you can reach. It’s the ultimative goal. The pinnacle.

It’s all about raw physical power, tactics, optimizing equipment and aerodynamics. It has it all!

And Denmark is among the best in the sport.

A Video Diary Leading up to Tokyo

We will follow the Danish Olympic Track Cycling team on their way to Tokyo 2020.

We will be with the team, when they are chasing crucial UCI points in the World Cup to qualify for the Olympic Games, when they are training on the Danish country roads throughout winter, when they are evaluating tactics in the arena, when they are testing and optimizing their equipment, etc.

Everything to document these world class athlete’s efforts on being the best in what they do.

First stop: Glasgow

First chapter takes place at the World Cup in Glasgow.

Denmark won the Men’s Team Pursuit in the European Championships about a month ago, and the World Cup in Minsk a week ago, so they are on a roll, but still have to perform at their very best to secure the important qualification points.

We were there in Glasgow, on the track, in the inner circle, with the boys, when they smashed the Italians in the final. For the fifth time this year the dug under 3:50, and rode very close to the Danish Record, which they set at the European Championships.

Come along behind the scenes …
