It’s offseason and the Norwegian professional triathlete and winner of this year’s XTRI World Championship, Hans Christian Tungesvik, is preparing for the 2020 season on the Norwegian winter roads on the Argon 18 Dark Matter.
He has set his sights on qualifying for Kona 2020, which would make him the first Norwegian pro triathlete to do so.
We met with Hans Christian in a Norwegian mountain hut for a talk about how he tackles the cold and dark winter.
Tungesvik's Dark Matter
In the wintertime, Hans Christian Tungesvik is riding the Argon 18 Dark Matter gravel racer.
The Dark Matter is a very versatile bike. A fast dirt road bike with a geometry adapted from the celebrated road
frames. A bike offering improved stability with a racing behavior, a bike that would feel just as fast and responsive on the trail that it would on the road.
